About Yolanda Elementary

Yolanda Elementary School is one of 12 elementary schools within the Springfield Public Schools district.

We are excited to welcome students and families to Yolanda Elementary School. We strive to provide a safe, welcoming, inclusive, rigorous and fun place to grow. Our staff show up every day, for every student, ready to connect students to the curriculum and the world around them. 

At Yolanda, we are thoughtful about developing meaningful, genuine relationships with students. We want to understand their strengths and likes so we can provide the learning opportunity that is the best fit for each learner.

We recognize we are a partner in your students’ education and understand that communication and connection to families is a critical component in the success of all students.

School Hours

Regular School Hours (All K-5 Students)
School begins each day at 8:35 a.m. (doors open at 8 a.m. for breakfast) and dismissal is at 2:50 p.m.

Early Release School Hours (All K-5 Students)
School begins each day at 8:35 a.m. (doors open at 8 a.m. for breakfast) and dismissal is at 12:30 p.m.

Office Hours

• On school days, the office opens at 8 a.m. and closes at 4 p.m.
• On days that students are not in school but the staff are present the office is open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
• On other days, the office is closed, except by appointment.
